of Use
Terms of use of our German language training platform
Terms of Use
Translation provided for information; the French version prevails.
These Terms of Use govern the use of the website institutderfuchs.de and of the online area of Institut der Fuchs. By using the website, you accept them.
1. Website publisher
Institut der Fuchs (Institut de Formation Professionnelle de Langue Der Fuchs), Bafoussam, Cameroon. E-mail: contact@institutderfuchs.de · Phone / WhatsApp: +237 657 718 770. The full legal information is set out in the legal notice.
2. Services offered
- Presentation of German (A1 to C1) and English courses, in person in Bafoussam and online.
- Preparation for official exams (Goethe-Institut, TestDaF, telc, ÖSD, ECL…).
- An online area for students (courses, attendance, assessments, payments, course certificates, messaging with the administration) and for staff.
- General information about studying, vocational training (Ausbildung) and working in Germany.
3. What the institute issues, and what it does not
- The institute issues internal course certificates of attendance and successful completion of its courses.
- Official language certificates (Goethe, TestDaF, telc, ÖSD, ECL…) are issued by the examination bodies themselves, not by the institute.
- The institute is not a visa agency: it guarantees neither a visa, nor an admission, nor a contract. Only the German authorities, the German Embassy in Yaoundé, institutions and employers decide on these. The information about Germany published on the website is general and may change; only the official website of the embassy is authoritative.
4. User account
- Creating an account requires accurate and up-to-date information. An account is strictly personal.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Choose a strong password unique to this website; enable two-factor authentication in your settings.
- Notify us immediately of any use of your account that you did not make.
- The institute may suspend or block an account in the event of false statements, fraudulent use, attempted intrusion or breach of these Terms of Use.
5. Rules of use
It is prohibited in particular:
- to attempt to access an account, page or data not intended for you, or to circumvent security measures;
- to send abusive, insulting, unsolicited advertising or automated messages;
- to distribute, copy or resell course materials, recordings of virtual classes or assessment papers;
- to record or distribute the image or voice of other participants without their consent.
6. Virtual classes and online assessments
Access to virtual classes and online assessments is reserved for students enrolled in the group concerned. Any fraud detected during an assessment may result in the cancellation of the grade.
7. Registration, payments and course certificates
The financial terms (registration fees, books, tuition instalments and due dates) are specified at registration and in the general terms of sale. Issuance of a course certificate requires compliance with the attendance, success and payment conditions of the training.
8. Intellectual property
The texts, images, logos, course materials and content of the website belong to Institut der Fuchs or to their authors. Any reproduction or distribution without written authorisation is prohibited.
9. Availability and liability
The institute endeavours to keep the website accessible and accurate, but cannot guarantee permanent availability or the complete absence of errors. It cannot be held liable for temporary unavailability, nor for decisions taken by third parties (examination bodies, embassy, institutions, employers). Links to external websites are provided for information purposes.
10. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the Privacy and Data Protection Policy (GDPR), accessible at the bottom of every page.
11. Changes to the Terms of Use and governing law
The Terms of Use may be amended; the version in force is the one published on the website. They are governed by Cameroonian law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the matter will be brought before the competent courts of Bafoussam.
